Thank you for coming this far.
Our local service workers need our assistance right now, and we’re grateful that you are interested in helping. Here’s how to do it.
If you subscribe to any of the same services that they do, you can use that service’s app to send them funds.
If you don’t subscribe to the same service, but still want to help, you can:
- Give gift cards for groceries, gas, or a general Visa card, if they included their email address (most do).
- Register as a patron to connect with and contact them to see what other ways they may be able to accept your tip.
Down the road, we may add a collective tip jar here, but we’re still working out the details for that. Stay tuned.
Support Their Businesses
Most businesses sell gift cards or certificates, many of them online. Buy one. Buy two. You’re here because you love these places and want to see them weather this storm. A little cash flow, even if it is technically a loan, can help these owners cover the costs of being closed until you can come back in and see them.
Check the Business Directory to see if they have any options posted (we’re working on getting those populated, but the owners have their hands full at the moment), or visit their respective Facebook page.
Other Ways To Help
Everyone’s situation is different, and sometimes what people need are supplies or services for their pets, maintenance for their car, tools to borrow, home repairs, etc.
Also, many people who want to help don’t have much in the way of disposable income right now, but they do have time and skills (some of them even build websites).
In some cases, workers have indicated what they could use, but if they haven’t, you can always register as a patron and ask.
Regardless of which path you take, we want you to know how mush we appreciate your generosity and spirit. Thanks!
